I'm going through an Acoustic phase ... and loving it.
So I've been doing lots of stuff, but not much of it has been roleplay related. For the better part of this past month I've been signing on and just sitting around. Rogue I'm at a stand still until I get a hold of some people to unfreakcrazymind her. I'm not in any hurry, though there are times I feel a little bad when someone asks for a scene and I have to decline because she's scene locked. It's /now/ that I remember why I try to avoid TPs or getting my character involved with an event that drastically changes them. It's fun, don't get me wrong I don't regret this kind of character development... it's just that I tend to always end up getting caught up in it for weeks and months before it's finally resolved.
I-No ... I really don't know. I love her and have all these ideas I'd like to use, but when it comes to plotting and figuring out a way to carry them out my mind completely shuts down. My best guess is that all I need is to be hit with some inspiration and it will just start coming to me, but for now with her I'm just waiting for something to fall into my lap. Joining the Syndicate is very tempting if only because I have a feeling that it would bring more things to my attention. Because fishing in the Breakroom and paging random people just isn't working at all. I hope my cast doesn't think I'm just squatting, cause I'm not... I just hit a rp slump with her very early.
Rinoa's pretty much the same way except it's come back to me why I left TIG before, twice before actually. It's just like pulling teeth to rp there. When I do manage to find someone that will even talk to me, 9 out of 10 times when I ask if they can scene they have some excuse. The one I hear the most is 'My character is in 'This place' and there's no reason why they'd be where you are'... and then when I suggest going to where they are usually some other excuse is given... just tell me you don't want to scene. I think most of me being in a down mood about that place is because I was so excited about it and now it feels like I was given a bowl of oatmeal when I was expecting ice cream. D: In a while I'll probably give it another try, but for now I'm just not even bothering until I'm poked by the people that I'm doing a scene with.
Hinamori, oh poor sweet Hinamori. My newest character that I'm still trying to break in! Even though it may look like I have been role playing with her constantly for the last couple of weeks... that's just not true. It's been a little difficult to start a scene, and even harder to finish one... but it's just bad timing as far as I can tell. My cast is great, and people are pretty open and friendly when I speak to them, except Aizen... which worries me and I'm hoping that he's just always been busy when I page him. pleasepleaseplease. But! There really isn't any problem with me finding people to scene with, however, there is this crazy thing where I never finish a scene. The ones I do finish are quickly wrapped up, but if anything is paused ... it just never gets finished. The scene I did with Al was the only exception because I stalked him and pounced! :E I didn't care if I lost sleep... I was going to finish ONE scene that was paused. ._. I know that this will stop once my online times aren't so spastic... but until then I'm going to try and stick with one on one scenes that can easily be wrapped quickly if they have to be.
Memememoomoomoo! Now during this dry spell of rp I have been keeping myself entertained by making more dolls. <3
Okay, just quickly for those that don't know. I love the Elouai dollmaker site. I sometimes get so into making dolls that hours go by and I don't notice until I glance at my clock and think - ajsgfjahfg;sdh where did the last SIX HOURS go?
Usually I make dolls for all the characters I've ever rped, their friends, their love interests... just everybody. My addiction to the site only growing more when they added a boy doll maker. I have well over 100 different dolls saved. I'm really not sure the exact number because there's more than I'm willing to count okay.
I haven't gone to the site in a little over a year, and for some reason decided to check it out to see if they had added anything... and now two days later I've added about 40 more dolls to my collection. And here I have my favorites of this recent bunch.
NOT WORK SAFE. Seriously. And if you are offended by swearing don't watch this. ... i love this so much because it's just how I felt while playing Kingdom Hearts 2.

I haven't actually gotten the character officially yet, but at this point I don't see me not getting her. Staff can keep telling me to rewrite and reapply and I /will/. Unlike other characters that I tend to give up on after a little resistance, Rinoa isn't one I give up so easily on. Not when I am as anxious to play her as I am now.
The place I'm playing her is The Ineffable Game MU*, a place where characters have been brought into a chess game of sorts played out by the Gods that live in that world. I had played there about a year ago, and I've spoken to other people that have seen Rinoa played there other times (even spoke to one of the Rinoa's directly) and I made up my mind to try and do something different. I had several different ideas, even considered her being evil briefly but moved on from that idea when I spoke to the Rinoa who had played that song there already.
For a while I thought I might just have to bury my ambition and just settle for something less, but then out of the blue I happened to look over one of the Gods that happened to alter his game players, even being known for switching the souls and 'bodies' of his chosen. Suddenly that sparked to life the idea that I could have Rinoa merged together with the GF Siren. I kept Rinoa very early in the game and got to tinkering with how this idea would work. I also went around to friends and asked what they thought of it to make sure that I wasn't the only one that thought it was a neat concept. I'm sure /someone/ has done this before, but I haven't seen it, so I wanted to give it a try. I even drew what I wanted her to look like to get even further into the mood of brainstorming and working out the application.
Needless to say, one week later... I am so excited to do this. I know that my excitement will simmer down after a week or so and I won't be so impatient to roleplay ... much like /every/ character I get, but at this moment I cannot wait to finally get her approved and start to play. XD
And with that. I go to bed. And with luck I'll be around tomorrow night to rp.

Rogue --- Sneak into Overworld. Get caught, brainwashed and fight as a warrior for Shao Kahn. Have a crazy wacky chase scene, preferably through an amusement park, mall or concert. Be held hostage and/or forced to do the will of some bad guy(or girl). Find people to hang around that aren't in my cast. Nothing against my cast, I just want to have buddies outside of it. Flip out like she did in Self Possessed. Owe someone a favor that she really won't feel comfortable owing a favor to.
I-No --- Steal Sol's headband so he has to march around in Gear form, forcing others to have to try take him down. Kidnap May (if she shows up) or any other obviously Japanese girl I come across from another series. (ohboy) Find Dizzy. Torment. Hold a band contest which is really a cover for something much more sinister. Have a guitar duel with someone/anyone! Find some innocent to manipulate endlessly.
